"Keeps Disconnecting"
It seems to disconnect often, which gets really frustrating after a while. Maybe it’s just my setup, but it’s been annoying enough that it definitely affects the experience.

"I got my Wyze cam set…"
I got my Wyze cam set up easily, honestly. The app walked me through most of the steps and it connected fast. I did have to retry the Wi-Fi once, but after that it was fine and everything worked like it should. Overall, it was simple... which is all I really wanted.

"I really wanted to like Wyze because..."
I really wanted to like Wyze because the prices are appealing, but my experience with the smart home stuff has been frustrating. I got the impression it would work more smoothly with Alexa and Google Home, but that hasn’t really been the case. My cameras and plugs randomly don’t respond right with Alexa, and the Google Home support feels more limited than I expected. Some routines just fail with no obvious reason, which gets old fast. The Wyze app itself is fine, but if you have a mix of smart home devices, I’d be prepared for some headaches...

"Decent products, support could be smoother"
I’ve been using Wyze for a while now, and for the most part the products have been solid. That said, I ran into an issue with my camera not staying connected, so I reached out to support. They did get back to me, and the person was friendly enough, but it took a couple days and I had to repeat what was going on, which was a little frustrating. I’m curious if other people have had the same kind of experience or if I just caught them on a busy week. Overall, not a terrible experience, but not amazing either. 3 stars feels about right.

"Works okay, but I’m still a bit cautious"
It’s been working fine for me so far, but I can’t say I fully trust it yet. Whenever I see a bunch of privacy settings and remember past security news, I kind of assume there’s a pattern there and get a little cautious. Maybe it’s nothing, but I’m still keeping an eye on it before I feel totally comfortable.

I mostly use Wyze for the camera alerts, and the push notifications are usually quick. Every now and then there’s a small delay, like it’ll come through a bit later than expected, but nothing that really makes it unusable or anything. So yeah, overall I’m happy with it

"Am I missing something, or does this keep dropping?"
Am I missing something here? This thing keeps dropping offline constantly, and at this point I just can’t trust it anymore. It’s really frustrating because I need it to stay connected, and it just doesn’t.

"Firmware Update: Mostly Painless, Shockingly Enough"
Updated my Wyze cam firmware last night, because apparently I enjoy living on the edge. It took a little longer than expected, and one camera decided it needed a dramatic restart before cooperating. But after that, everything worked fine. Not perfect, because why would technology ever be perfect, but overall it was smooth.

"Sound is better than I expected"
I was surprised by how clear the audio sounds, even when I’m using it outside. Everything about getting it set up was really easy too, which I appreciated. Overall, I’m happy with it

"Still Working After Rain and Drops"
I’ve gotten so tired of products breaking and then having to deal with customer service, returns, or warranty stuff. This cam has been dropped a couple times and even got caught in the rain, and somehow it’s still working fine. Relieved I haven’t had to chase anyone down for a replacement

"Pretty solid app overall"
The Wyze app is easy to use, and getting everything set up was super simple. It does lag a little sometimes or makes me refresh, which is kinda annoying, but for the most part it gets the job done. No big drama, it works for what I need.

"Okay stuff, but I wish there were more options"
I’ve used Wyze for a few basic smart home things, mostly cameras, and they’re not bad for the price. That’s probably the main reason I keep checking their site, because it feels like one of the few affordable options left when everything else keeps getting more expensive.
That said, I always seem to run into the same issue where the stuff I actually want is either limited, out of stock, or just not available in enough versions. I was hoping for more sensors and accessories, but it kind of feels like I’m stuck settling for whatever happens to be there. It’s decent overall, just a little frustrating when you’re trying to build out a setup and the choices aren’t really on your side.

"Mostly Worth It"
Overall, I’d say it was worth it for the most part. It does what I needed and I’m not totally disappointed, but there are a few things that make you wonder if a little more care could’ve gone into it. Still, for the price, I can live with it.

"Motion alerts miss half the important stuff"
The motion detection feels all over the place. It’ll alert me for every tree branch moving like that’s some huge event, but then somehow miss an actual person walking by. It’s like these systems always catch the random stuff and miss the things you actually care about.

"Local storage has been a big plus for me"
I went with Wyze mostly because my brother uses one at his place and kept saying the microSD card option was worth it. After trying it myself, I get why. I like not feeling locked into another monthly subscription, and the setup was painless. The clips save right on the camera, which is exactly what I wanted for keeping an eye on things around the house.
The app can take a second to load sometimes, but it hasn’t been a big deal for me. Overall, it’s been really convenient having local recording while still being able to check in from my phone whenever I need to.

"Really useful automations, even if they lag a bit"
I’m a fan of the automation rules because they save me from doing a bunch of little repetitive tasks. That said, I’ve noticed a tiny delay here and there when they kick in. It’s not a dealbreaker for me since I’m already biased toward anything that makes my workflow easier, but it would be nice if they felt a little snappier...

"Kind of what I expected, unfortunately"
The camera does work, but the video is blurry a lot of the time, even when the lighting is actually good. I had a feeling it might not be as clear as advertised, and after using it, that pretty much confirmed it for me. I was hoping it would be better for checking things clearly, but it’s just not sharp enough.

"I ordered a camera from Wyze and…"
I ordered a camera from Wyze and it showed up in about a week, packed well enough with no issues. One of the items didn’t really fit what I needed, so I ended up returning it. The return process was straightforward, which made me feel a lot less frustrated about having to send it back. The refund did take a few days longer than I expected, and I was a little worried at first, but support actually responded and helped get it sorted out. So overall, not perfect, but I still felt taken care of in the end.

"Battery sorta dies too quickly"
I’ve only been using it for a bit, but the battery keeps dying after just a few days. It’s sorta frustrating to have to keep dealing with it, especially when I expected it to last longer.
